Winner of the Omnipreneurship Awards: Sustainability Grand Challenge

NineSigma is very proud to have partnered up with Al-Dabbagh Group (ADG)  for the first “Omnipreneurship Awards Sustainability Grand Challenge“, and to have delivered innovative solutions to ADG & Tanmiah Food Company (TFC).

For the 2020 Grand Challenge, TFC needed to find new uses for the increasing amounts of manure generated by the poultry farms to help them become a useful raw, or high added value material while positively impacting the environment. Through this challenge, TFC intended to formulate a net positive approach towards waste management by crossing the existing frontier of conventional technological applications in waste management.

About the Winners

After receiving and reviewing many proposals worldwide, 5 finalists were selected in Phase I and were awarded US $ 20,000 each as the winning prize.

As for the Final Grand Challenge, Polymeron, a startup from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology’s Taqaddam accelerator program won the prize of US $ 1 Million.

Our client expressed gratitude towards the success of this project by saying:

“Thank you for your support in motivating and inspiring the outstanding number of change-makers to participate. We are pretty sure your contribution is going beyond the award and will have a positive impact on our planet”.

Tanmiah’s team
