Needs Title
Description
Neste, the largest producer of renewable fuels, is seeking technologies which can process CO2 emissions, coming from our oil refineries, and turn them into products which have potential value in the market. Possible products could be energy products (fuels), plastics, lubricants, (platform) chemicals, or other potentially valuable products.
Neste is the world's largest producer of waste-based renewable diesel, and over the past years we have put a lot of effort into the development of our high quality diesel. In 2017, 'Neste MY Renewable Diesel’ led to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions equaling 3 million passenger cars in one year.
To further strive to improve resource efficiency and mitigate global warming, our objective is to reduce CO2 emissions from our refineries (present annual emissions 2,4 Mton/a) in the future.
To reach this goal, Neste is looking for technologies that can convert CO2 waste streams into products.
Neste's strategic goal is to support our partners and ecosystems in fulfilling their sustainability agenda for climate change and circular economy. For this reason, Neste is:
