NineSigma Names New Program Manager
CLEVELAND, OH – September 7, 2005 – NineSigma, Inc., a Cleveland,
Ohio-based innovation sourcing firm, announced today the hiring of
Herbert T. Young to the position of Program Manager. NineSigma serves
the global research and development industry by facilitating open
innovation strategies for clients seeking to acquire technical
innovations developed outside their organization. This new hiring
supports the company’s aggressive growth from new clients and expanded
client accounts, particularly in the food and consumer products
industries.
Mr. Young comes to NineSigma with over 30 years of experience with
Procter & Gamble in various research, technical, and management
roles including most recently Product Development Section Head for a
variety of Food Technology business divisions. In his role, Young will
focus on his core competencies of processing and process development.

Mr. Young holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Rose Hulman
Institute of Technology and is a member of TAPPI (the Technical
Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry). Mr. Young also holds a
number of U.S. patents for innovative processes in Food Technology.
