CLEVELAND, Ohio – June 28, 2012 – Open Innovation leaders from around the world will share their challenges and successes, and network with peers at NineSigma’s 4th Innovation Leadership Summit, October 1-3 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Participants in this year’s gathering of the world’s top innovators will explore Global Mega Trends, and the impact that they have on organizations’ innovation agendas.

The conference will address issues such as creating an engaging innovation culture, collaborative solutions, accelerating time to market, social product development, new business models and more. Speakers will represent companies from a range of industries, including Kraft Foods, Starbucks, Unilever, General Electric, Bissell, Johnson & Johnson, Limited Brands, Nypro Inc. and Brady Corporation. They will be joined by experts from technology firms and academia, such as Quirky and RWTH Aachen University.

The agenda includes case studies, panels and “talk show” format sessions with open innovation champions who are leading their organizations’ open innovation programs. Attendees will also participate in a NineSigma “Fearless Innovation” Game which showcases creativity and real-time collaborative innovation utilizing NineSights, the company’s new open innovation social media destination that connects innovators of all sizes with the resources and relationships needed to drive business value.

An intimate conference setting will enable innovation leaders to build community, share approaches, and develop new collaborative models together while focusing on actionable strategies that can be applied within their own business.

NineSigma CEO, Andy Zynga said, “We invite attendees to this forum based on their experience, knowledge and commitment to innovation excellence. And since we are not looking to earn money with this event we can afford to create a top flight environment. Everyone should depart the Leadership Summit with a fresh perspective on using Open Innovation to further their competitive advantage and grow in an increasingly challenging global market.”

Jon Hague, VP Open Innovation, Unilever, said of the 2011 Leadership Summit, “I thought it was first rate. I’ve done a few of these now and this was the best. The location, the relaxed feel, the mix and caliber of people, plus the quality of material was overall very good.”
